Special hybrid webinar with prof. dr. Jennie Ponsford, 30th june 2022

The Limburg Brain InjuryCenter (Expertisecentrum Hersenletsel Limburg, EHL) invites you for a special hybrid lecture (in English) at Maastricht University or online via zoom on Thursday, June 30th 2022, 16.00 – 17.00h.

The theme of this lecture is ‘Improving outcome after brain injury with evidence-based rehabilitation’. Prof. dr. Jennie Ponsford is the Director of the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC), at Monash University in Melbourne, which was created in 2000. Its aim is to conduct research in trauma rehabilitation, with a view to reducing long-term disability. The research of prof. Ponsford is recognized internationally, as is evident from the high number of international publications, the significant number of invited international conference presentations made by Professor Ponsford, and her election as the first Australian President of the International Neuropsychological Society. Jennie Ponsford has published over 400 journal articles and book chapters, as well as two books on the management of traumatic brain injury. In 2020, she became the Dirk Bakker Visiting Professor at Maastricht University. The lecture will be in English.
